Shortly before the Austin, Morris was also able to list the 4-door sedan with hydrolastic suspension designed by Alex Issigonis, the father of the Mini. The 1100 engine version was produced from 1962 to 1971. Automatic transmissions were available from 1964 and the break configuration was introduced in 1966. The 1300cc version had an almost parallel career.
