In May 1967 the Fiat 125 was introduced, with a chassis derived from the 1300/1500 and the engine of the 124. It was a sedan with a sporty temperament, characterized by a front end with four quadrangular headlights. The Special version was presented at the Turin Motor Show, with a more refined bodywork and a slightly more powerful engine. The Special was further modified in 1970 without however altering its essential characteristics. The 125 was replaced by the 132, presented in the spring of 1972.
