When the Astra replaced the Kadett, the change took place as a sign of continuity, and the convertible version, designed by Bertone, was also maintained. The Astra F Cabriolet was marketed from 1993. The line was elegant thanks also to the absence of the roll bar, but the behavior was rather quiet and not very sporty. However, the equipment was up to par, with ABS, airbags and air conditioning in most versions. A slight restyling was conducted in 1994 and production continued until 1999.
