The fifth generation of the Maserati Quattroporte was presented at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show. Designed by Pininfarina, it was available in three finishing levels: Base, Executive GT and Sport GT, all three with a 4.2-liter 400-horsepower V8 engine. . A restyling was carried out in June 2008, with the range was rearranged in three new specs, Base, S and Sport GTS: these last two versions received the 4.7 engine with 440 horsepower. The Quattroporte V was produced until 2012.
