For years, fans had been waiting for a high-performance sedan from an Italian brand capable of contrasting German bids. The Lancia 8.32, better known as Thema-Ferrari, entered this difficult sector where the image of the product and the prestige of the manufacturer played a fundamental role. The car was equipped with a 3-liter 8V engine with 32 valves, derived from those mounted on the Ferrari 308 and Mondial. The performance was superior to that of all competing sedans, with a top speed of over 230 km / h. The road handling was excellent.
