It's quite hard to imagine an American make today marketing a four-door sedan priced higher than a new Ferrari or a Rolls Royce. Back in the 50s that was another story. It was an era ripe for the ultimate Cadillac: a car heaped with everything that GM's styling and engineering experts could throw at it. The Eldorado Brougham costed the double of the Eldorado Biarritz and it caused a lot of losses to Cadillac, which is why this extraordinary car only lasted two years with just 704 exemplars built.
