BMW's entry level SUV debuted in October 2009 and remained in production until November 2015. The finishes disappointed a bit but the car had excellent performance and good dynamic behavior. It was marketed both with rear-wheel drive and as a 4x4. The petrol versions included the 18i, 20i, 25i and 28i; among the diesels there were 16d, 18d, 20d, 23d / 25d. The first generation X1 had a restyling in April 2012 and went out of production in November 2015.
