In 1965, Chevrolet thought about installing a 375-horsepower V8 in the Chevelle, which arrived the previous year, but overshadowed, eclipsed by the Mustang. The model had not yet reached its maturity and only 201 examples of this type (called Z16) were sold. But the main goal, which was to advertise, was achieved.
