Presented at the 1998 Paris Motor Show, the XK180 was a concept car with a simple and elegant line, which celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the XK series, inaugurated with the XK120. Although not designed for series production, the XK180 anticipated some trends that would be seen on the Jaguar range in the years to come. A second specimen of XK180 was built to be exhibited in the United States.
