Appearing as a show car in 1954, the Ford Mystere soon lost track of itself. This concept car was however important because it served as a laboratory for the development of numerous stylistic features destined to be found on the production of series Fords, such as the ailerons that appeared in the 1957 range or the side decorations, adopted in 1955 and 1956.
