The German company founded in 1988 by brothers Friedhelm and Martin Wiesmann launched its first roadster in 1993. The company was declared bankrupt in 2014 but was taken over two years later by Roheen and Sahir Berry. A new team is preparing the rebirth of Wiesmann in the premises of Duelmen, under the name of Project Gecko, a reference to the animal in the logo of the brand. The style should continue that of the first MF35.
