Rival of the Honda CRX, the Mazda MX-3, launched in 1991, offered remarkable technical skills, with a powerful 24-valve V6, the smallest ever marketed, with a displacement of 1845cc and a power of 133 horsepower. Other engines were the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder 88 and 107 horsepower, less sporty and bright, produced since 1994. The Mx-3 was marketed until 1998.
