Officially Citroen never proposed a 2-door variant of the DS. But the coachbuilder Chapron thought about it, who between 1958 and 1972 created various “coach” (4-5 seats) and “coupé” (2 + 2) configurations based on the DS. Several more or less elegant models came out of the Chapron ateliers, with evocative names: Le Paris, Concorde, Le Dandy. If the base was the DS, Chapron did not hesitate to apply his logos on the cars, to testify the work of a profound transformation.
