Marketed from April 2004 to February 2011, the 407 aroused enough interest for its comfort, road holding and complete equipment. Despite this, some features such as rear roominess or trunk volume left something to be desired. The 407 was still an excellent car, equipped with adequate and even powerful engines, such as the 2200cc and 2400cc petrol or the 2200cc and 2700cc diesel. The car was also offered in break configuration. A restyling was presented in May 2008.
