Presented at the 1994 Paris Motor Show and marketed since 1995, the Venturi 300 Atlantique was based on the same chassis as the 400, but nevertheless presented completely new and innovative features compared to the other Venturi. The engine, derived from PRV, was a V6 Turbo and developed 281 horsepower: 44 units were built in this configuration. In 1999 a twin-turbo model was presented, with a V6 ES9 engine from the Peugeot 406 but totally developed by Venturi herself. With 310 horsepower, the 300 Biturbo was capable of higher performance than a Porsche 911 Carrera type 996. Only 13 examples of the Biturbo were built and production stopped in 2000 with Venturi’s bankruptcy.
