Produced from 1959 to 1961, the Jaguar Mk.IX was a saloon equipped with the 220hp version of the 3.8-litre 6-cylinder. The last of the separate chassis series, it had disc brakes and power steering, making the Mk.IX easier to handle and easier to drive than its predecessors.
