Even though the C-Class is not the best-selling model in Mercedes production, it is still crucial on most markets. This explains the wide range of variants and engines that were produced for this third series, in the price list from 2007 to 2014. If only three body configurations were available, the list of engines ranged from the 120 horsepower of the 180 CDi to the 517 of the 63 AMG Black Series, for a total of sixteen variants with 4, 6 or 8 cylinders. Recognizable for its more angular lines than the previous generation, this C-class had a first restyling in February 2011. It went out of production in 2014.
