The Riley 4 was a sedan born from the collaboration between BMC and Pininfarina. The 4/68 version, in production from 1959 to 1961, had the 1489cc 4-cylinder engine, while the 4/72 had a displacement of 1622cc and remained in production from 1961 to 1969. The particularly brilliant performance was due to the MG mechanics that proposed refined elements such as the double SU carburettors, which already in the 1.5 engine ensured 66 horsepower). The interiors, inspired by Wolseley, were particularly cared for. The 4/72 had wider track, anti-roll bars and the option of automatic transmission.
