At the beginning of the 2000s, when the minivan market was still booming, Seat presented its first model of its kind, the Altea. Quickly transformed into Altea XL, long version, then Toledo, it also had a Freetrack variant with vague SUV characteristics. Technically very close to the second generation Leon, the Altea had numerous engine updates. The car went out of production in 2016.
