To replace the 6C 2300B in its role as a grand touring and sports sedan, Alfa Romeo had carried out the ambitious S10 and S11 projects, which were then set aside in favor of a more traditional and economical project, the 6C 2500. The engine was a 6 2443cc in-line cylinders, with an output of 87 horsepower. The 6C 2500 was available in three versions: Turismo, Sport and Super Sport. The production, which was interrupted by the war, gave a total of 279 copies. The 6C 2500 was resumed in various postwar configurations.
