Unlike Japanese automotive design trends of that period, the Toyota 2000GT, in production from 1967 to 1970, had typically European lines. Its 1988cc 6-cylinder engine, designed by Yamaha, developed an output of approximately 150 horsepower. Just over 350 of the Toyota 2000GT were built.
