After the W-30 sports package, Oldsmobile launched the W-46, commonly referred to as the Rallye 350, in 1970. The Cutlass Rallye 350 was equipped with a small 350ci V8 that developed 310 horsepower. Unlike muscle cars, the 350 still had an agile sporting vocation. Despite the validity of the project, commercialization was quite short.
