The 365 P is known to be the sports-prototype car Ferrari supplied to the major private teams for the 1966 season: two examples, for Maranello Concessionaires and NART, were upgrades of the cars already used in 1965, while three other cars, for Ecurie Francorchamps, David Piper and Scuderia Filipinetti used ex-official P2 chassis. The 365 P-66 had the windshield of the 330 P3, but the rest of the bodywork remained the one seen in 1965.
