One of the most famous GTOs is the 3705GT, built in June 1962 for the French driver Jean Guichet, who together with Pierre Noblet finished second in the Le Mans 24 Hours of that year, winning the GT victory. That was the best result of a GTO in Le Mans. The 3705GT had a long career, passing to the driver Egidio Nicolosi, who raced it in 1963 and 1964. In 1965 the car continued to be used by the Swiss Cox Kocher.
