Presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2000, the new Morgan re-proposed the classic stylistic features, known since 1936, but with remarkable technical innovations. The car adopted a modern V8 of BMW origin, with a displacement of 4398cc and 286 horsepower. In 2004, the V8 increased to 330 horsepower, and then increased in displacement (4799cc and 367hp) in 2008. Later other versions were introduced, such as the Supersports which replaced, in 2010, the Aero 8 and the Aeromax. In 2015 came the new generation of the Aero 8. Between 2001 and 2008, 766 examples of the Aero 8 were built, divided into 7 series.
