After unveiling the spyder Aventador J in March 2012, Lamborghini added a roadster to its catalog in November of the same year. The LP700-4 Roadster was inspired by the SVJ, although it was less extreme. The structure was adequately reinforced to compensate for the loss of rigidity due to the lack of a roof. The engine was the 6.5-liter V12 with 700 horsepower at 8250 rpm. The car went out of production in 2016.
