In its long history, the Citroen DS has interested numerous body builders. The best known and most prolific is undoubtedly Henri Chapron but other artisans have also performed elaborations starting from the DS: Boschetti and Beutler with their convertibles, Ricou with the spyder competition models, but the most original was perhaps Tissier who in the seventies created a whole series of service vehicles, such as tow trucks and cars transporters, based on the DS. For the production of these special cars, Tissier created its own brand: ADPT (Application de véhicules des procedés Tissier).
