After the 1960-1963 GT, Jem Marsh and Frank Costin's Marcos continued to develop the laminated wood chassis concept with a 1783cc Volvo powered 2-seater coupe. Built from 1964 to 1966, the Marcos 1800 was produced in a hundred copies. In the following years, until 1969, Ford engines of 1500, 1600 and 1650cc were adopted instead.
