The Koenig C62 was a road car produced by Koenig Specials GmbH starting from the chassis of the Porsche 962, a Group C racing car. The engine was the 3.4 liter inline twin-turbo 6-cylinder of the Porsche 930 with a series of modifications to bring it 550 HP of power and 750 Nm of torque; the gearbox was manual with 5 speeds. The suspensions were modified for road use. The original brakes of the 962 were retained, although equipped with less extreme pads. The cockpit of the Koenig C62 closely resembled that of the racing car. Koenig Specials had planned a production run of 30 examples of the C62, but only three were built.
