The 512TR was the heir to Testarossa. Presented in Los Angeles in 1992, it was equipped with the same 5-liter engine as the Testarossa but even stronger (428 horsepower) thanks to the Bosch Motronic injection system. The nose section was different, now ressembling that of the 348. The 512TR remained in production until 1994 after 2280 units built, when it was replaced by the F512M, which was the third and final step of development of this type of car.
