In March 1965 the small Fiat 500 underwent a series of changes to the bodywork and mechanics: thus the 500F was born. The bodywork had for the first time the doors hinged at the front, while the mechanics were strengthened in the clutch, differential and drive shafts. The engine was the 110F000 type, 499.5cc and 18 horsepower. The "F" remained in production until 1972.
