The history of the Ferrari 458 began in 2009 with the coupé, to continue with the Spider model of 2011 and then, in 2013, with the Speciale version, when it was time for Maranello to replace the 430 Scuderia from 2007. The 458 Speciale was designed for sportier drivers: lighter and more powerful than the standard 458, the Speciale was equipped with the 4497cc V8 which developed 605 horsepower in this configuration. Aerodynamics have also been improved, with an extractor derived directly from Formula 1 technology.
