The SF1000 is the sixty-sixth Formula 1 built by Ferrari. The car should have made its debut in the Australian 2020 GP, which was not held due to the Covid-19 health crisis. The debut was therefore postponed for several weeks, when F1 was finally able to race in Austria, at the beginning of July 2020, where Leclerc obtained a second place, perhaps unexpected. The abbreviation SF1000 indicates that in 2020 Scuderia Ferrari celebrated its thousandth Formula 1 Grand Prix, which coincided with the Mugello Grand Prix.
