The line of 6-cylinder engines, which characterized much of Bentley's production, continued with the 4.25 litre, equipped with the 4257cc (89x114) unit. Numerous coachbuilders tried their hand at this car, which remained in the catalog from 1936 to 1939. The 4257cc engine was then used on the 1940 MkV and after the war on the MkVI (1946-1951).
