A Hillman Minx variant, the Singer Gazelle IIIC was produced starting in 1961 with a 1592cc single-carburetor 4-cylinder in-line engine and a choice of three transmissions. The convertible version was presented in 1962, soon followed by the Station Wagon. Production stopped in 1963 after around 15,000 units were built.
