Using Reliant mechanics (700cc in-line 4 cylinders) Sharp's Commercials Ltd produced under its own brand Laurie Bond an eccentric three-wheeled micro car designed by Tom Karen in Ogle, the Bug. Performance was incredibly brilliant, with a top speed reaching 120 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 23 seconds. The Bug was produced in about 1600 copies from 1970 to 1974.
