Presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1953, the 1900C Sprint Astral bodied by Boneschi, aroused a lot of interest for its original and American-style lines, with a very elaborate front with headlights embedded in the large mudguards that also acted as air intakes. The car was built in two examples, the second of which was built in 1954 at the request of Tujillo, dictator of the Dominican state, with some differences, such as the elimination of the Alfa shield and the addition, near the emblem on the fender, of a stylized star with “Astral” writing, and the fabric hood. The body color, verse with beige interior, was also different from the previous version.
