Since the nineties, the name of Mercedes trucks has changed and each range has received a name: Actros, Accelo, Atron, Atego, Axor, Antos, Arocs. Atego is the generic name given to the lower range of heavy vehicles, presented in 1998. It is intended for urban deliveries and rescue (many firefighters, for example). Like the other ranges, the Atego has recently been refurbished to comply with Euro-6 standards. Today the range of versions is particularly wide, with twelve different wheelbases (from 3.02 m to 6.26 m) and seven engines, from 156 to 300 horsepower.
