Riding the wave of neo-retro, Ford launched a modern interpretation of the GT40 in 2004. The new car, simply called GT, was equipped with a 5409cc and 558hp V8. The maximum speed exceeded 330 km / h. The style was due to Camilo Pardo, the head of Ford Living Legends. The Ford GT remained in production until 2006, with 4038 units sold, of which only 101 were imported into Europe.
