The Chevron B16 was presented in August 1969. The car was a decisive step forward compared to the B6, B8 and B12. Between 1969 and 1970 with coupé or spyder bodywork. Different engines are used, from the 1600cc Ford Cosworth FVA for the debut race at the 1969 Nurburgring 500km to the 1790cc Ford Cosworth FCV, the BMW 2000 and even a rotary Mazda engine.
