In 1981 the Ferrari 512BB, which had been unveiled in 1976, received a technical update: the four Weber 40IF3C carburettors were replaced by a Bosch K-Jetronic injection system, which brought the power of the 4943cc V12 from 340 to 360 horsepower. The car took the acronym 512BBi. This Gran Turismo remained in production until 1984 and is today one of the most sought after cars by collectors.
