In 2001 Subaru presented the new Impreza WRX, which retained the 2.0-liter turbo engine and four-wheel drive. The car was nicknamed bug eye, due to its round headlights. The sports version was the WRX Sti, which increased to 265hp (6-speed gearbox) with sensational performance: from 0 to 100 km/h in 5"5 and the km from standstill in 25"6.
Kyosho was founded in Japan in 1963 and began producing RC model cars in 1970, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers in this sector. Since 1992 the company also began to appear in the world of diecasts, with products in various scales, including 1:43 and 1:18. The Kyosho models, made in China, are very well detailed, with opening parts and accurate reproduction of mechanics and interiors.
