After a long apprenticeship in various Turin bodywork factories, the brothers Antonio and Giuseppe Savio opened the doors of their small workshop located in Via Tiziano in Turin in 1919. They began with the transformation of 900 Itala chassis, worked for Ceirano, for Fiat, Lancia and other houses of the time, as well as for other body shops. The business resumed after the war with only Giuseppe, in a new factory in Borgo San Pietro, just outside Turin.
