The Road King features a look that mixes bagger and cruiser styles. It shares almost all of its DNA with the Street Glide: same chassis, same engine (which changed in 2017 to the 1745cc four-valve per cylinder) same lowered line. Only the riding position changes, with a lower seat and a straighter torso.
Maisto has been producing diecast models in various scales since 1978. The company was founded in Hong Kong in 1967 and marketed its first models under the name MC Toy. California-based Maisto International was founded in 1992. The models, which have a good price-performance ratio, are manufactured in China and Thailand. The most popular range among collectors is the 1:18, and in 2005 Maisto took over the Italian company Burago. Maisto also produced a wide range of pull-back toys from 1:32 to 1:48, and 1:43, 1:24 and 1:64 scale models.
