The Sporting was the sports version of the Fiat Seicento. Released in 1998, it had a 1100cc engine (type 176.B2.000), like that of the Suite. However, it differed in the shorter gear ratios and in a series of sports features, such as lowered suspension, alloy wheels and some aesthetic accessories. In December 2000, a special version appeared, the Michael Schumacher edition. As already happened with the Cinquecento, the Seicento gave life to a lucky single-make rally: the car prepared for racing had an 1147cc engine that produced 108 horsepower.
