Mercer was an American brand, based in Hamilton, New Jersey, active from 1909 to 1925 and famous for its rival 5-liter 4-cylinder (T35) sports cars in their period of the Stutz Bearcats. Occasionally a few Mercers make appearances in auction sales: on May 20, 2021, a 1913 Type 35HP Runabout with a 4-cylinder engine sold for nearly 2 million euros.
