On the initiative of a Japanese collector, coachbuilder Zagato created a special car based on the 575M Maranello, drawing inspiration from the three 250 GT Tour de France already bodied at the end of the 1950s. Presented at the Villa d'Este competition, this car, which was to be produced in a one-of-a-kind specimen, gained such approval that in the end six were built, each with different characteristics. The engine was the 5748cc V12, which delivered a power of 515hp for a maximum speed of 325km/h.
