It was Frua that conceived the bodywork lines of the Maserati Mistral, a two-seater sportscar produced from 1963 to 1970. Available with both coupe and spyder bodywork, the Mistral had several engines, from 3485, 3693 and 4041cc, all equipped with injection. The most common version is the 3.7-liter one, while the 4-liter engine was only available from 1967. The spyders could be equipped with an automatic hard top.
