MINICHAMPS - MERCEDES GP - F1 W14 TEAM MERCEDES-AMG PETRONAS FORMULA ONE N 44 2nd AUSTRALIAN GP 2023 LEWIS HAMILTON

Despite having more than half the points of the RedBull-Honda RBPT, Mercedes concluded the 2023 F.1 Constructors' World Championship in second place, ahead of Ferrari by just three points. Lewis Hamilton scored 234 points, which earned him third place in the drivers' standings, behind Verstappen and Perez. The other Mercedes driver, George Russell, finished eighth with 175 points.

A chaotic 2023 Australian GP (2 April) did not stop Jos Verstappen with Red Bull from recording yet another success. Hamilton, who qualified third with a time of 1'17"104, managed to finish second just 0"179 behind Verstappen. After the race, Hamilton occupied fourth position in the drivers' championship, behind Verstappen, Perez and Alonso.
