Introduced in 2014, the GT range from Mercedes has had an eventful career and was refreshed in 2019, with a model overhaul, new headlights, new equipment and so on. This Porsche 911 competitor has a specific chassis and mid-front engine architecture. After the GT (476hp) and GTS (522hp) disappeared from the catalog, the GTC/GTR and Black Series versions remained. The GTR is equipped with the 3982cc twin-turbo V8 and 585hp at 6250 rpm. The GTR had its last development in 2016, with steered rear wheels, widened track, semi-slick Michelin tires and other aerodynamic refinements. With 2022, the entire Mercedes AMG GT 2-door range has been discontinued.
